Judy Marie (1956-) was born in Agawam, Massachusetts.

About the Author
Alan Parisse During his twenty year career in the investment business, Alan Parisse gained extensive experience in both the investment banking and distribution and sales sides of the business. Over the last decade he has become a renowned speaker and commentator on dealing with change and turbulent times. In December of 1999, Successful Meetings Magazine named him one of the "Top 21 Speakers for the 21st Century". He is also the only person to come out of the investment business to be inducted into the National Speaker's Association Hall of Fame. Alan received his BS from SUNY Buffalo and his MBA from the University of Arizona. He resides in Boulder, Colorado.

David Richman has been in the investment business for over twenty years. He has extensive experience in marketing and sales and has been a senior member of the sales team for the oldest independent provider of managed money consulting services in the country. He is a friend and partner to scores of financial advisors who have leveraged his skills through thousands of seminars and joint calls with affluent investors. David is a member of the Connecticut Bar and has sat on numerous civic boards over his career. He holds a BA and MA from the University of Rochester and a JD from the University of Connecticut. Questions will make an investor think

I was given a copy of the book by a financial advisor. Her only comment to me was to look it over if I had a moment. I can't say that I related to everything in the book as it's written from the perspective of the advisor. But, I can say that after reading it I changed the way I looked at my financial person and how he related to me. Some of the things I thought? Why didn't I feel he had a personal relationship with me? Why didn't I believe he was interested in me and how I related to money? After some soul-searching and interviewing a few advisors, I have a new money manager--and I like her approach a lot. In fact, I've decided to put my grandchildren's trust funds with her as well.

Great book very helpful

This is a great example of how to develop deep relationships with your clients. The sincerity and quality of the questions are what really matter. One of the most difficult issues we deal with is how to put together a plan for our clients, without their open and honest communication the job can be left incomplete. This book will help you in asking those questions.

About the Author
Ali A. Mazrui is Albert Schweitzer Professor in the Humanities and Director of the Institute of Global Cultural Studies at Binghamton University, USA. He is also Albert Luthuli Professor-at-Large at the University of Jos, Nigeria, and Andrew D. White Professor-at-Large Emeritus and Senior Scholar in Africana Studies at Cornell University. He formerly served as Chancellor of the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Nairobi, Kenya - an appointment made by Kenya's Head of State. He has also served as Special Advisor to the World Bank, as President of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists of North America (2007-2011) and in many other distinguished positions. He has published more than thirty books and several hundred journal articles.Ramzi Badran is Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Global Cultural Studies. He received his PhD in Political Science from Binghamton University, USA. Dr. Badran is a former Fulbright scholar in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, and has taught and co-taught at Johns Hopkins University, Binghamton University and Cornell University. His current research explores modernization processes in the least developed countries as well as the effect of international agreements on state behavior.Seifudein Adem is Associate Research Professor of Political Science and Associate Director of the Institute of Global Cultural Studies at Binghamton University, USA. Dr. Adem has taught at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and the University of Tsukuba, Japan. He was also President of the New York African Studies Association from 2010 to 2011. His publications include Paradigm Lost, Paradigm Regained: The Worldview of Ali A. Mazrui.Patrick Dikirr is Senior Lecturer and Director of the Centre for Science and Technology Studies at the Technical University of Kenya. He received his PhD degree in Philosophy, Culture and Interpretation from Binghamton University, USA, in 2005. His published work includes Africa's Islamic Experience: History, Culture and Politics (2009, co-editor) and Globalization and Civilization: Are They Forces in Conflict? (2008, co-editor). His current research addresses the science and politics of climate change, environmental Pan-Africanism, globalization, democratization and normative features of the global order.

About the Author

Barbara Bottner is the author of many favorites for young readers, including Rosa's Room, illustrated by Beth Spiegel; the ever-popular Bootsie Barker Bites, illustrated by Peggy Rathmann; and Bootsie Barker Ballerina, also an I Can Read Book, illustrated by G. Brian Karas. Together with her husband, Gerald Kruglik, Ms. Bottner has authored the award-winning picture book Wallace's Lists, illustrated by Olof Landström, and the I Can Read Book Pish and Posh, which she illustrated.

Olof Landstrom is the illustrator of many internationally successful books for children, including the Boo and Baa and Will series with Lena Landstrom, and Benny's Had Enough and Benny and the Binky by Barbro Lindgren. He lives in Sweden.

Gerald Kruglik is the coauthor of Pish and Posh and Wallace's List. The author lives in Florida.

Wallace Lightens Up

A delightful, heart-warming book in which Wallace the mouse, an inveterate list-maker, meets Albert, a rodent with a penchant for the unplanned. Making lists and then methodically doing the things on the list makes Wallace feel secure, even though he yearns to follow his new friend Albert, who is so spontaneous. But Wallace just can't break away from his need to make a list of the day's activities and then stick to that list. Until he senses that Albert might be in danger. Then Wallace jumps into action, has unplanned-for adventures, and makes the longest list of his life. A great book, to be read over and over. The illustrations are wonderful.

Sweet, clever, entertaining and thoughtful.

We checked this out at the library and loved it so much we had to have it for our home collection. The illustrations are very entertaining and add to the story; both characters are absolutely loveable. But not only is it a sweet story of friendship and bravery and trying new things, it can also be a gentle reminder to those of us "big people" who make lists and schedules and then live our lives by them religiously, to loosen up a little. One to read again and again.
